Why are member protection and child safeguarding important?

• Member protection – These practices ensure Seacliff SLSC members are protected from discrimination, harassment, abuse and other inappropriate behaviour. Our goal is to maintain a positive, inclusive and safe environment for all.

• Child safeguarding – These are the measures in place at Seacliff SLSC to create an environment that is as safe as possible for children to participate, learn and enjoy surf lifesaving activities.

• All Seacliff SLSC members are required to follow Surf Life Saving policies to help uphold the safety and wellbeing of others.
