Safety at Seacliff SLSC
The Seacliff SLSC supports and upholds the same commitment expressed by Surf Life Saving Australia and Surf Life Saving SA to keep children and young people safe from harm. We are dedicated to maintaining a culture where everyone feels respected, supported and protected. You can read more about SLSA’s Child Safe Framework below.
Why are member protection and child safeguarding important?
-
Member protection – These practices ensure Seacliff SLSC members are protected from discrimination, harassment, abuse and other inappropriate behaviour. Our goal is to maintain a positive, inclusive and safe environment for all.
-
Child safeguarding – These are the measures in place at Seacliff SLSC to create an environment that is as safe as possible for children to participate, learn and enjoy surf lifesaving activities.
-
All Seacliff SLSC members are required to follow Surf Life Saving policies to help uphold the safety and wellbeing of others.
You’ll find more information on this website about how Seacliff SLSC puts these commitments into practice.
