Membership & Payments

All registered members need to have a current working with children check.

To become a member of Seacliff SLSC you need to join and make your payment. Once you have done this, the Secretary will approve the membership. If you have any questions about this process or you need help, please contact our Secretary at secretary@seacliffslsc.com.au. Membership fees include one free parent for members under the age of 18 (one per family). The free parent needs to follow this process as well so that they are registered in our system and can receive communications. If you have a child that is in Reception to Year 9, you may use one $100 Government Sports Voucher per child per calendar year.

Steps to Register:

  1. Go to https://members.sls.com.au/

  2. From ‘Not a member of a surf club?’ select Click here to join.

  3. Tick Surf Life Saving Club.

  4. From the drop down menu in ‘The club I want to join is’, select Seacliff SLSC.

  5. Choose either I want to join as ‘An individual’ or ‘My Family’.

  6. If you chose My Family, name the group.

  7. Select Next.

  8. Type in your first name, surname and date of birth and select your gender from the dropdown arrow.

  9. If you chose My Family, select Add Family Member. You’ll need to add the Primary Contact description from the drop down.

  10. Select Next.

  11. Fill in all Contact details and Emergency contact details.

  12. Untick ‘Use contact mobile as emergency contact mobile’ if you want to add a different number.

  13. Select Next.

  14. Select the price from the drop down menus (including to correct price for the number of sports vouchers being used) and select Next.

  15. Select addon fees if applicable and select Next.

  16. Check your order summary.

  17. Create your Members Area account. Enter a preferred username and password. You will receive an email to Activate Your Registration.

  18. Tick both boxes in the declaration section and select Next.

  19. Now select the Pay Now button to make the required payment.

  20. If required you can select Add another Transaction to add another payment (eg. Storage).

  21. Make sure the Payer’s Details are complete.

  22. Select Next, enter your payment details and select Next again.

  23. This will now go to the Secretary for approval.

To renew your Seacliff SLSC membership, you need to have a Members Area. If you have any questions about this process or if you need help, please contact our Secretary at secretary@seacliffslsc.com.au. Please remember whenever you are in your Members Area, to check and update your personal details, most importantly mobile, email and emergency contact information. Go to the Memberships tab and select Update Personal Details. If you have a child that is in Reception to Year 9, you may use one $100 Government Sports Voucher per child per calendar year.

Steps to Register:

If you don’t already have one, create your Members Area:

    1. Go to https://members.sls.com.au/

    2. From ‘Don’t have a Members Area account yet? Select Click here.

    3. The Create Account form will display. All information must be exactly the same as what is in the SLSA system.

      • Enter your First Name, Surname and Date of Birth.

      • Enter your Identity Confirmation Method (mobile is the easiest option).

      • Enter your Preferred username and then select [check] to make sure it isn’t already being used.

      • Create a Password and Confirm the password. Select Submit. You will then be taken to a screen titled Confirm.

      • Enter a Username and Password.

      • Enter the Mobile Confirmation Code that you received (or the code sent to your email address if you chose that as your Identity Confirmation Method). Select Log In.

To access your Members Area if you already have one:

  1. Go to https://members.sls.com.au/ and enter your username and password.

  2. If you’ve forgotten your username or password, you can select Forgotten username or password?

To renew your membership without a Family Group:

If you do not have a Family Group, a message will appear under Pending Renewals – ‘Renew membership for Seacliff’.

  • Select the red Renew button next to Renew membership for Seacliff.

  • Make sure the season displays as 2024/2025 and then select Submit.

  • Select the renewal fee from the drop down menu and select Next.

  • Select addon fees if applicable and select Next.

  • Check your order summary. Tick both boxes in the declaration section and select Next.

  • Now select the Pay Now button to make the required payment. Review the Transaction information.

  • If required you can select Add another Transaction to add another payment.

  • Make sure the Payer’s Details are complete.

  • This will now go to the Secretary for approval.

Transfer Your Membership

If you are transferring from another surf club to Seacliff SLSC, you can complete the process via the Members Portal by following these steps:

1. Log in to the Members Area: Select Memberships > Renewals, Payments & Transfers. Then Click Join/Transfer to a New Organisation. Then choose “I want to join a surf club or transfer to a different surf club.”

2. Select Seacliff SLSC as your new club. You have the following transfer options:

  • Full Transfer: Move completely from your old club to Seacliff SLSC (required for Nippers).
  • Competition Rights Transfer: Stay with your current club but compete for Seacliff SLSC (dual membership).
  • Non-Competition Rights Transfer: Join Seacliff SLSC while keeping full membership and competition rights at your original club (dual membership).

3. Update your details, agree to the necessary declarations, and submit your transfer request.

4. Make Payment (if required)

5. Approval Process: Your transfer must be approved by both your previous club and Seacliff SLSC—this may take some time. To check your transfer status, contact the secretary of your current or former club.

Payment

1. From the Memberships tab at the top, select Renew, Pay, Transfer & Archive.

2. Scroll down and select MAKE PAYMENT (it appears in blue next to Online Payments in the box with the Seacliff logo at the top).

    • The price list will appear.

    • Choose the Transaction Type from the dropdown menu (check that you have chosen the selection that corresponds with the number of sports vouchers you are claiming).

    • Enter a meaningful payment description.

    • If you want to make another payment, select Add another Transaction and repeat the process above.

    • Make sure the Payer’s Details are correct and then select Next and follow the steps to complete the payment.

Sports Vouchers

Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club accepts the Sports Voucher as part of the payment towards the joining fee.

What is the Sports Vouchers program?

The Sports Vouchers program is a Government of South Australia initiative administered by the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing. The program provides an opportunity for children from Reception to Year 9 to receive up to a $100.00 discount on sport, dance and learn to swim fees. The purpose is to increase the number of children playing organised sport or participating in dance or learn to swim activities by reducing cost as a barrier.

Who is eligible for the program?

All South Australian children in Reception to Year 9 are eligible from 1 January 2022. This means if a child is 5 (or becoming 5 in the calendar year) to 15 years old are eligible. Remember it is one voucher for each eligible child per calendar year. 

How do you use your Sports Voucher at Seacliff SLSC?

Simply deduct $100 from your membership fee payment and include the words Voucher in the payment description. Then see the team on the beach to fill out the voucher or download below. The Secretary will then submit a claim to the SA Govt for reimbursement. Note if your claim is rejected you will be invoiced for the amount of $100.00.

Working With Children Check

All Seacliff SLSC members are required to have a valid Working With Children Check. If you do not already hold one, please click the link below to register and complete your check before finalising your membership.

Club Gym:

The gym at the Seacliff SLSC is available for members use once you’ve completed the Gym Induction.

There are a number of training sessions that will be run by various members of the Gym Committee.

Complete the Gym Induction so you can sign up for the Gym Training Sessions.
