Last Training Saturday 11 March
Well, we are nearly there for the 2022/2023 season, and this Saturday (11 March) will be the last nippers of the season. There will be no change to the itinerary as we gear up for the Days 2 and 3 of Junior States.
The BBQ will be going back at the club after training and it will be great to see as many families as possible!!
Junior States Championships – Days 2 and 3
The big show (days 2 and 3 of Junior State Championships) is next weekend, 18 & 19 March. This will be hosted by Port Noarlunga SLSC.
Saturday – This will be predominately individual events + march past. the program for Day 1 can be found HERE
Sunday – This will be predominately team based events. In addition there is the All age relay and the taplin. These 2 events will be held at the beginning of the day with the all age relay at 8:00 and taplin at 8:40. These are great spectator events, so make sure you get to beach in the plenty of time to watch the clubs compete against each other in all age events! The program for Day 2 can be found HERE

WATERCOVER AND OFFICIALS & OTHER VOLUNTEERS
Thank-you to everyone that has supported the carnivals as officials, water cover, photographers, set-up, pack-up and supporting in any other way. We need ALL hands on deck for the these two days. The more people we have involved the better, and means we can switch people in and out, giving everyone a chance to see their kids compete. EVERYONE will be asked to help based on the roles provided in the registration.
Join us back at The Club on Sunday 19th March – We will be hosting nippers and families back at the club on the 19th to celebrate everyone’s achievements. Even if your child is not competing, we encourage you to come down and enjoy the fun. MORE TO INFO FOLLOW
Pretty in Pink – Recognising International Women’s Day
Today (8 March) marks international women’s day. This Saturday we encourage parent’s and nippers to dress up and wear something pink, in recognition and to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
Junior State Title Tops
If you have not already done so, please remember to pick up junior states title tops from the merch shop this Saturday. It will also be the last chance to get anything nippers need for states, such as high vis, or black scull caps.
Ladies Day
Seacliff SLSC will host our annual Ladies Day at the club on Sunday 2 April from 2pm until 5pm. Tickets are on sale from the website. In addition If you have a little business and would like to host a stall on the day, Early Bird prices are just $40!
