Congratulations to all the Junior competitors
The first carnival of the season was at Somerton last Sunday. A massive turn our from the black caps in what was challenging conditions. There were plenty of smiles all round and the Under 8’s had an excellent first carnival experience.

Last Saturday training of 2022!
Its our last Saturday training session of 2022 this Saturday. We will have activities for the kids, that will combine some training and some team fun! Keep an eye on the calendar here for mid week training schedules, and we will see you back on the beach on the 7th January 2023
It’s Competition Time !! Junior State Titles Tops
The Junior Committee is again looking for a new design for the Junior State Titles team tops for 2022/2023 season, and we would love the design to come from one of our Juniors. We ask that entries are sent to juniors@seacliffslsc.com.au by no later than the 23rd December 2022
The committee will then choose a few designs that will then be put up for you to vote on. Which ever design gets the most votes will be used as the new design for the 2022/23 Junior State Titles tops, that all our nippers will wear this season!!! How cool is that !!!
The design needs to be:
- In Black and White – to match our club colours (the design will go on a grey long sleeve t-shirt)
- In spirit of surf life saving.
- Can be for the back or front of the t-shirt.
- No bigger than A4 size in portrait.
- Can incorporate the words Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club or Seacliff SLSC
We don’t want file formats etc to be a blocker for the kids imagination, so designs can be sent in any format (ie word, photos, pdf, gif).
We will add additional text such as ‘Seacliff Junior State 2022/23’ so they don’t need to worry about that.

Surf swim training
A reminder that the Surf Swim is back on Friday afternoons from 445pm – 530pm. A great way to increase your child’s confidence in the surf making the most of an extended water session. Nippers must have completed their preliminary proficiency to attend. Please check the junior calendar here for further details.
Lions Cakes
The Club will be supporting the annual Lions Cakes sales this year. look out for more info in Bits and Pieces on how to get involved.
